thanks heaps for the support! the next day we couldn't even film it rained so much but we did get a huge samson fish in the storm. once it passed we hiked back out in the afternoon. was a full on weekend.

@@DixonsFishing Awesome stuff bro.. if I lived in Australia I would definitely be fishing with u guy's😎 your rock and surf type of fishing is very similar to our fishing here in south africa.. but the fishing of cliffs is done more in the southern part of our coastline and the guy's mainly fish for big sharks (inedibles) hopefully someday u guys come out to south africa and do some fishing with us, ul wil definitely love if here👍💯

thanks for the comment, he might have been on the boat that towed us back in from the Montebello islands last year? it was a charter boat and a heap of guys from Victoria where on that boat heading home from a trip.

all caught on fresh fish baits, the small one was on half a whiting, medium one on a big wrasse fillet and the large one on a whole herring.

not sure on SA rules sorry, for us in WA we have a 50cm minimum size limit and 3 per person in the southern region where these came from.

Tip length is fine to measure from and what most people do. Only time I hear of people caring about fork length is bream mostly.
