Hi there cbz, the power supply transformer is just too small at only 35v 0 35v gives 35 / 4 ohms = 8.75A x 35 = 306.25 watts only but not 1500 watts per channel. it needs about 20A at 80v a power supply transformer about 80v 0 80v to 90v 0 90v at 18.75A per rail, good luck folks...

You have to put a preamp on that. Phones/computer volume is very low. That amp cannnot output a quarter of what's it is capable of without a preamp.

Fyi leave a little space under the through hole components. Bend the leads and you dont lt have to tape etc. I don't this for a living in the aerospace field. Class 3 IPC

I see you can buy similar boards already assembled for around $30 on ebay. I think i wanna try building an amp using the 1943-5200 chips. Though Id like to do a basic power amplifier, single input, tube pre-stage, and toroidal transformer.

all nice I would improve the PSU with larger caps at least 68,000uF I see only 10,000uF not enough per rail and a metal bridge rectifier "yes I know just for the testing" it does look good PCB design 😊
