VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Deanna and James renovated a vintage camper together and fell in love with traveling on the road. They found that the vintage camper was more difficult though, so they sold that, bought a van and renovated it together. Two renovations in a short time is a test to any relationship and they're doing great! Their Promaster renovation is beautiful with a full shower, amazing solar, an air conditioner as opposed to just a fan and a beautiful build all around. They also did the dinette that converts into a bed, which isn't done as much in builds anymore, but really opens up the space beautifully.

The cutouts with rattan woven backing allows the overhead cabinets to get air AND reduce the weight of those doors with privacy. Very clever!

Like the idea of renting but it is nearly impossible to find them to rent here on the East Coast - and when you do, it is incredibly expensive!

dross24MA that’s true! I’m sure with COVID-19, most likely everyone went out and rented/bought a camper. It’s the same thing with gardening. I am an avid gardener and most seeds were out of sight.

I think it’s finally got to where everyone has narrowed down the best layouts to just a few variations, but now what stands out is how well and how nicely it’s implemented and this is one of the nicest I’ve seen to date. The floor/counters/ceiling just look so sharp and so rich. Bravo!

The only thing i can notice in this video is that beautiful ocean breeze constantly running through the van. I grew up in a coastal town in SoCal but haven't lived there for 7 years now, and I miss that breeze!

I would love to add a bed on a lift that goes up to the roof during the day and then down during the night as I can leave all my bedding on and it's so much less effort although you have a lower ceiling height above the seating area.

This is definitely a beautiful build but clothes space is a concern as well as a a garage. Definitely a weekend supreme but I can’t see full time. Yes I know, they built to their needs but they gave us some great ideas.

Wow, tremendous build, one of the best conversion of both form and function I've ever seen. Perfect for two. Nice interior design choices. I would love to see someone do an internal temperature comparison test with two identical vans in direct heat, one white and one black? Does it make that much difference? I like the choice of the electric scooters to get around when you park. Although not as environmentally friendly as a composting toilet you can't argue with the simplicity of the dry flush. I think for long term full time van life, I would probably go with a regular bed. Where do you store the bedding in couch mode? Too much converting for me but can't argue with the beauty in couch mode. Why can't mass produced RV's look more like this?
