Nice execution! What type of motor (BLDC or brushed) with how many Watts, RPMs and Torque you used? Thanks.
@markusbFPV3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Its a brushed motor of about 200-300W. I dont know the RPM but you can probably figure it out from the video. Maybe 50-100RPM on the barrel?

Can I ask what kind/size cylinders are you using. I am looking witch parts work best for a front loader like yours. Thanks.
@markusbFPV4 жыл бұрын
Im using one lift cylinder, from flowfit in uk. Its a 201/040, 40mm bore and 25mm rod. It lacks a bit in power so I would recommend going up a bit in size. But not to much. The tilt cylinder is the same size and has enough power because it has better mechanical advantage in this construction.

@@markusbFPV thanks, And the hydrolic pump is it a standard 24Volt powerpack used on a lorry? or did you build that also yourselve?
@markusbFPV4 жыл бұрын
@@remkoleupen yes its pretty much the same thing except this power pack came from a small Atlet pallet loader. 24v/2kW if I remember correct, and about 2cc/rev on the pump.

Sharp sifter attachment

You made that? Very impressive.

Amere Mortal , thank you! yes its all homemade. both the machine and the tools for it. working on a much bigger machine now, you can see it in my youtube channel.

markusb I would buy it! You have an impressive sense for aesthetics, on top of your engineering skills. I can see so much brain power went into this. I hope you succeed.

Nice! How do you power the attachment? I didn't see you get off to make any connections?
@markusbFPV7 жыл бұрын
Scott Kelsall, thanks! I made two spring loaded connectors for 24V to power the attachment. Thats why there is a white piece of nylon mounted on the upper tube. inside there are two 6mm bars and two springs.

markusb very impressive! How long do your batteries last?
@markusbFPV7 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! Depends on what Im doing. The hydraulic pump is what draws the most power, about 2-3 times more than driving. For normal garden work it last a whole day. When moving snow in the cold, maybe 1-2h. Batteries are also old and worn. Its 4x 12V/76Ah traction batteries from old scrubbers, total 24V/150Ah.
@scottkelsall95607 жыл бұрын
markusb did you salvage a lot from the old scrubber? I converted a powerhouse prodigy mini skid steer to 48v electric but haven't had a chance to run it more than a few hours. It's all hydraulic, so it likely goes pretty quick as well.
@markusbFPV7 жыл бұрын
Scott Kelsall The only thing I got from the scrubber was the batteries. They were worn so a customer wanted them replaced. So for the past years Ive been running this machine with not so good batteries but it works just fine. nice with a skid steer conversion! any more info online? was the original motor damaged or why was it converted?

looks like it is only rear-wheel drive. how did you construct the drive unit. electric motor going to a differential axle? or is it a fixed axle?
@markusbFPV2 жыл бұрын
Yes its rwd only. I built it on a peerless transaxle from a lawn mower. A 24V/1kW motor powering the transaxle via belt system. Works pretty good but i dont use this little machine anymore since i built the bigger 4wd machine a few years ago. Broke a transaxle (snapped the aluminium housing) but mounted a new one and welded more supports around it. Afterthat its all good. Yes its a differential inside it, so its really only 1wd in practice. Works good on most terrain but can get stock sometimes.

@@markusbFPV thanks for replying. What would you estimate is the payload on this small loader? what's the heaviest your comfortable using it with? Also do you have any plans for it? Would be happy to pay for it. You're big loader is super impressive - but I'm about to build a small one myself, fitting to my needs.

@@ottonormalbitcoin9601 The weight is about 500kg and lifting capacity is about 250-300kg, then the pressure relief valve opens. A little more and the rear lifts up. No problem driving with 250kg on the forks but traction is not as good then as its only rwd. At the moment its not for sale but maybe in the future. Still need it for loading and unloading at another place where I cant bring my bigger machine.
@markusbFPV2 жыл бұрын
@@ottonormalbitcoin9601 If youre going to build one and plan on lifting heavy loads I suggest going 4wd as it makes a huge difference. Everything works better with 4wd.
