Actually, it's less than 10 kV, but it was a relaxing video, thanks! One of my friends used to test my high voltage (low current) generator by making an arc with his finger and said: "ok, now you have 20 kV, it's better than yesterday". Don't try it unless you are sure that the current intensity is low.

Hello, you said 400 kV? !! Are you kidding? If the output was 400KV, your spark would be 10 cm, which means that when the wires reach a distance of about 10 cm, it will ignite, and the other point is that you can still not touch the wire even though the wires are shielded. Because with that voltage, 400 kV, high voltage passes through the wires and reaches you. Another thing is that, after winding the transformer, you should fix its wires with epoxy resin so as not to cause sparks between the wires inside the transformer, otherwise your transformer will burnout soon, please pay attention to these details.

@@1minu.Entertainment it is working, i don't say that this high voltage not working , but unfortunately Only these transformator can not holding a lot of voltagh pressure, for example, the electric current connection button Press continuously , or at one pressure of the current connection button, for example,spend more than 5 seconds, then due to poor insulation between coil wires, small sparks make your transformator burning.I think for better coil, use the high voltage of old light bulb TV'SĎmonitors, you will get a better answer.

I’m kind of dumb, so if you could help affirm this to me, that would be amazing. I think I know how this works but I’m not 100% sure. I think what happens is that when current goes is applied, some current goes to the gate. But when more and more current goes through the collector because there is a path to ground. When less current goes through the base pin, it closes a bit. When it closes, less current is going to ground, but more is going to the base pin, so it reopens. This creates a pulsating signal. Keep in mind this is a guess, I would appreciate an answer/explanation as to how this works if I’m incorrect. Thank you!

I'm kinda dumb as well but what i think is happening is that the circuit initially sends a signal into the primary coil which induces a current in the feedback coil and the primary starts oscillating at the resonant frequency of the transformer

By the turn ration and input voltage the secondary voltage is about 555 Volts. Thats not even enough to make a 1mm arc which requires 3000 Volts. So the high voltage arcs must be coming from some resonant effect.

Judging by the distance between the two secondary wires, the voltage produced is somewhere between 5kV and 7Kv. If it was really 400kV, the transformer would be BIG or else will burst on flames damaging the MOSFET and the battery.

hey i made high voltage transformer without using to much tape.All i did was kept wrapping it with thin copper wire until its full then made the input wire. I didnt add extra layers of tape to wrap it i just keeping wrapping it.try it.

Its 120 to 1 transformer, so there is no way to output 400KV. Probably is 1KV with fully charged litium battery. Anyway, its nice and simple circuit.
