Most stuff is mass produced to drive down costs. You wouldn't get a hand-made chair for 1,000 these days...unless it's badly made.

I’ve been restoring MCM lounge chairs for a couple months now and this video is just beautiful. I love seeing these chairs designed and built. I love your use of Brass, and also how you don’t hide the woods natural grain! Every single time I restore a piece it feels like the original grain is hidden behind cheap toner, I even made my own method to make it pop out! You on the other hand do an amazing job with wood choice and also your finish process!

The Spaces Between Studio I think the idea is to do it the other way around. Find a cushion you want to use and design the chair to fit it.
