Whats the name of that machine that you use to make lines?

Not exactly certain of which lines you are referring to, but i used a milwaukee laser level (model 3522-21) to apply the blue tape. The blue tape was to mark the studs. This is important for attaching the 1x2 strips to the existing wall. If you don’t nail your strips into studs, they will just hang loosely and most likely just fall off. The drywall isn’t secure enough to hold the strips by itself. Hope this helps.
