Great work and craftsmanship. The thing about theater rooms is that sure in the beginning its the room you always want to be in. Yet if you don't have kids and a family ritual movie night. The room eventually ends up becoming vacant. I realized that having a fancy office or gaming room is the only room you'll never get tired of being in or frequenting. Theater rooms are like in home bowling alleys. Its fun to have till you eventually forget about it.

Weird, opposite here. No one uses the 'fancy office' in our house. (Well, the hermit in the hermit crab cage does.) And the gaming room goes unused for weeks at a time. But the theater room area (which doubles as the same spot for dancing games) gets used 2-3 times a week. Every family is different.

Hit the nail on the head. Got a sony 65 inch oled with tower speakers, etc.. and dont use it as much as i like. Was thinking how many movies i would watch beforehand, the setup, etc..and although i watched some phenomenal movies and enjoyed i havent used it in months and i find myself 99 percent of the time at my desk on my pc. Would never sell it tho cause those time where you dont want to be in bed on your phone or at your desk on the pc, you can just plop on the couch and throw a 4k hdr movie on.

It’s about what you’re into and where your passion lives… As a little kid, I enjoyed my toys, video games and movie theaters. As a big kid (now at 50 and counting) I fully enjoy my videos games, my RC’s, my collectibles and my home theater. If it’s truly your passion the ROI is pretty full filling and non fatiguing…

@@tommygunzz7586 Unless your Theater Room is also your gaming room. I just can't see it. Unless you have family and/or kids. If not frequent friend hangovers. To which the older I became the less hangovers I started engaging in. I just preferred comfortable relax alone times more with spouse and family. Unless you have 1 of those WiiFit games where you dance, sing karaoke, etc. Basically interacting on/with a large screen. I can't see someone just casually strolling in from time to time just to watch the same flicks over in that room.

Great looking, but ai really like to put some more work, thought and design into the sound treatment part of a home cinema. But I come from the worlf of Hi-Fi, sound studios and pro Audio, so I can understand if others are not so picky on that. But overall, the place is nice, neat and I'm sure it is also so much better than watching móviles in a livingroom couch or in your bedroom TV. Great job

I would love to build a huge garage and make the movie screen at least 10ft and 14ft wide. It would be for the entire family with many seats to choose from. I would also add a snack bar and a popcorn machine just to give more of that movie theater vibe. I would build a classic outdoor movie theater entrance. My family and friends would never go to a public movie theater again.

So much good work. Realy professional build. But why you dont built in an custom SBA / DBA (Bass Array) to avoiding Room Modes ? You put in so much rockwool / isolation in it that at least, an SBA (Single Bass Array) would work, to get an even and clean Low Freq. Response on all seats.
