This is my first time attempting a DIY Accent Wall using trim & I’m excited to share that process with you because it was a lot easier than I anticipated. I’m really proud of how I was able to transform this space, and was pleasantly surprised that it only cost me around $70! I hope this video encourages you to try a new DIY in your home! ❤

Megan, the accent wall turned out great. It has definitely given me some inspiration to try to do it myself. Are you planning on putting Doors back up on the pantry and laundry closet. I’m sure you will say they just get in the way of the function of the space, but would definitely add a bit of design to the space when the areas are not in use. Just an idea. Your dining area is very esthetically pleasing to the eye. Have a great day.

Wow...I've said this before but you've managed to take something that was blank and give it a minimal but rich and simple finish that doesn't necessarily draw you eye away from the rest of your beautiful space... but adds texture without adding in other colors. What a soft transition into your living room. What I really love about this is that you aren't "locking in" to a specific style so this kind of accent would work in any room...with almost any kind of style whether it's farmhouse...contemporary...boho. It's pretty much a timeless accent. I will definitely be saving this video for future ideas. I've watched you for a long time and you've always had great DIY's and tips...but it's been fun to see not only your style changes in your home but how your skills have graduated to another level girl!! Hey Megan, love your channel! I recommend putting curtains on your pantry and laundry closet. You can keep it closed when your filming, then open it when you need to access it. It’ll make the room look more luxurious and hide the clutter ❤❤❤❤

I found it at HomeSense, so there isn’t a link 😩 but I have seen something very similar in store at my local HomeGoods, so if you have those stores near you I’d definitely go check in person! I think we’re going to end up using it as a coffee bar 🤗
