Add lighting above your picture frames. And keep the sconces on the wall to your family room. It will look perfect. Probably not in your budget right now, but perhaps change the lighting in the dining room as well. I love how simple, yet elevated your space is looking. You can get an art light if you want to bring the gold back over and it would be centered above and out of the way of the doors. The sconces look great on the other wall.
