You could get someone to put little art supplies in each drawer, I live alone and don't have family or friends so I buy arty things all year and wrap them up then I forget what I've bought so I get surprises. It's not fun getting up christmas day on your own so I do this to make it as special as I can

I LOOOOOVE this so much. I wanted to make an advent calendar for my 10-year-old niece and 5-year-old nephew! But, I think I am going to do it with cardboard so that they can dispose of it when they are done!

Beautiful project. You've inspired me to buy a similar advent box with drawers. I've painted the drawers and added snow this morning. I have some Stamperia Patchwork Christmas papers and stamps so will add those tomorrow. I've bought red felt numbers. Thank you for your inspiration. Xxx

I made a similar calendar last year and loved it. This year, I am making several more. Really is fun. I did find that it helped the wooden kit I used to use primer. And I sanded the edges. Great fun. Thank you!

I love this project. I would have never thought to use grey as the background color, but it looks stunning. I've gotten advent calendars for my kids ever since they were little and they still ask for them even as adults. 😁 I may have make this for them so they can have one every year.👍🏾❤️
