I got rid of the 2 AGM batteries and installed one 100 Amp hour lithium iron battery that only weighs 22 lbs. That saved 41pounds aand the trailer now weighs 690 pounds.

I wonder if you ever had the chance to use the 600W heater and if it ran all night OK as you thought it would. Or did it quit way before the night was over. i see the weight of your trailer is way under a 1000Lbs . That is fantastic. I am building one soon. I want to go with an ultra light frame with a 2000Lb axle and then all foam covered with fiberglass. no galley . Nice vids. I am learning something here.

I never did get to camp overnight running the 600 watt heater but it should not be a problem because the small heater ran continuously at 170 watts and lasted more than 4 hours Running at 600 watts with a thermostat to cycle the load on and off should give 8 hours of heat because my experience is that the heater will only run about twice an hour to maintain 14 C in the cabin once it is warmed up. I have added a second battery and that should make it work with power left over. Thanks for the comment and good luck with your build.

Just because I was curious, I set the heater at 600 watts and let it run continuously before the inverter kicks out due to low voltage( seems to be about 10 volts) I got 90 minutes of run time. I figured out before that the heater runs about 6 minutes every hour so 90 minutes of run time will give 15 hours of heat. Since I have 200 watts of solar now, I should be able to have heat as long as need it. During today's experiment I had the solar panels covered with a vinyl tarp.

Could roof racks b installed on this trailer

Yes this trailer has roof tracks already installed that are made by Thule. They are also compatible with Yakima racks

Yes it already has Thule roof tracks installed and you can install Thule or Yakima racks. I am not that familier with the Thule products but for Yakima I think you need to buy landing pad #1 and then the appropriate towers and crossbars. I have this same setup on my 1991 Civic wagon. They work great.
