So did both pieces just pull out? Not twisting or anything? I could get the plug part out but not the bulb from the light housing itself.

Yes, you can either pull the bulb & electrical connector out together as one piece by just pressing the tabs on top & bottom of the bulb socket and pulling back (no twisting needed) or disconnect the white electrical connector by pressing the one tab on top (1:34) and then pull the bulb by pressing tabs on top & bottom and pulling back. Hope this helps!

Just traded in my chevy spark for a patriot last week( I have a 1 yr old, needed something bigger lol) and bought these. Going to try and put them in tomorrow. I want to do some blue HID headlights too maybe 6 or 8 000 k ... any recommendations?

@@Chendyy lol I found that video right after I posted that comment 🙏🙏 thanks man . And yes .. I watched your video and it was very simple. I popped the 3 tabs and pulled the lens out the front and switched them (I'm skinny lol) they look awesome !!! Def going to check out those headlights next . How are yours holding up? I def need the ballasts too right?

I actually no longer have the Patriot but both sets of bulbs were installed for about nine months before I got rid off it and I didn’t have a single issue with either. And I've heard of some people not needing the resistors when installing on various Mopar vehicles but a lot of people with Patriots needed them in order to prevent anti-flicker or LEDs completely going out due to the canbus system. I didn't try without resistors b/c they were only a couple bucks so figured they were worth picking-up so can't say for sure if you definitely need.

Hey, I bought the same things and when I use the highs the fog lights turned off, and I can’t turn on the fog lights while the high beams are on, he can I fix that or it’s normal on LEDs?

I believe Jeep has it setup like this from the factory no matter what type of bulbs are installed. I have seen some posts on forums where people have re-wired, used relays and even had the ecu re-flashed to bypass but I never tried on mine so not exactly sure what might work best to make them work together. If you do a google search, you should come across some things to try!

I realize your question is a year old, but I'm responding for anyone else who has the same question as you. You CANNOT have low beams, high beams, and fog lights all on at the same time! It is illegal and vehicle manufacturers program their vehicles to either have low beams + fog lights, or low beams + high beams. Not all three at once. Hope that helps.

I actually no longer have the Patriot but they were installed for about nine months before I got rid off it and I didn’t have a single issue with them so they were worth it to me for $25!

Very nice look, are you able to see better at night with these? Are they brighter or dimmer than the stock bulbs?

Thanks! Yes they were a bit brighter then the stock halogen fog bulbs but I got the biggest difference when I replaced the headlights! He left the halogen bulb in the driver's side fog light to show us a comparison between the new LED bulb and the stock halogen bulb. I'm wondering why you failed to understand this. Interesting.

@reruddock lol man there is some garbage equipment out there for sale. For example I got the angy eyes and fromt grill kit for jeep patriot and the angry eyes don't fit and the grill doesn't fit either but I said f it and removed the front clip and modified the grill on the inside so the grill kit would fit. Now it looks sick but most people don't have a shop or know how to do what I did. So yes I truly thought they were same lights but some had different colors slightly. I wouldn't have been shocked bc people are selling garbage out there. But I'm glad to hear it was just a comparison of the 2. Maybe he found a good light. The led headlights I got didn't say anything about needing a can bus adapter to make them work correctly so I hooked them up and it was like a strobe light haha I had a friend tell me about can bus boxes that regulate voltage so I got them now the lights are insanely bright. People flash me like I have brights on when it's low beam so I kick to high beam for sec and they stop haha prob see spots for a few seconds
