Wondering if you could do a coffin with multiple motors, offset in timing, to make it look like the lid is rattling.
@maggie4299
@maggie4299 5 жыл бұрын
You would just need a bigger motor... and something sturdier than a Popsicle stick. maybe something resembling a gear with irregular teeth. I have seen this done in other halloween/haunt prop videos.

Fun! When I paint my tombstones I actually "paint" them with mortar mix. I add water to mortar mix to desired consistency and add some black paint to get a darker grey color when dry. ETA: Mortar mix, done thicker, would actually hide the seam lines.

That is a great idea. I use the sign stands that you can buy from Home Depot. So far so good. This is a great idea though and probably makes them extra sturdy. When mine break I incorporate them into the design. It actually makes them look super creepy like an old broken tombstone. These came out absolutely awesome!

Eduardo, I just had an idea after watching this about a headstone that walks along a set track. Like one side lifts, shifts forward and sets down before the other side lifts up, moves forward and sets down. Essentially the headstone would be wiggling in place on top of a little carrier which moves around a track creating the illusion of a walking headstone

So, the wood base is secure, but all you have holding the foam to it is a couple screws drilled into the Styrofoam? I guess its fine in an enclosed area, but mild wind will tear it off.

Tip: Instead of tent stakes I use landscaping staples. If you can't find wood from pallets, use cedar fence pickets, which are light in weight and naturally weather resistant, so you only need to paint the exposed surfaces.
