Assembling a 12V lithium battery requires connecting multiple 32650 lithium iron phosphate cells together.
It is assumed here that you want to assemble a 4S2P battery pack, that is, use 4 sets of batteries and connect 2 batteries in each set in parallel.
First, make sure you have the following materials and tools:
32650 lithium iron phosphate battery (6Ah, 3.2V)
Battery pack holder or battery pack
Battery Management System (BMS)
wire
Soldering Station and Solder
Insulating tape or heat shrink tubing
Insulation Strippers
Battery packaging materials (such as PVC film)
1. Connect four 32650 cells in 4 series and 2 parallel. Use a wire connection between each series-connected cell to ensure that the positive and negative terminals are connected correctly. Solder with solder and a soldering station to make sure the solder is solid.
2. Insulate each connection with insulating tape or heat shrink tubing. Make sure there is no risk of short circuits between the wires.
3. Install the battery management system (BMS). BMS is responsible for monitoring the voltage, temperature, and charge and discharge protection of the battery pack. Connect the positive and negative poles of the BMS to the positive and negative poles of the battery pack according to the instructions of the BMS. Make sure the connections are tight and correct.
4. Use insulating tape or heat shrink tube to cover the whole battery pack, make sure the surface of the battery pack is smooth and well-insulated.
5. If you are using a battery pack, put the battery pack into the pack according to the requirements of the packaging material and seal it according to the instructions.
6. Check all connections to make sure there are no shorts or loose connections.
