From someone that has a turtle about 1/3 of that size.. hes gonna need a much stronger filter and a bigger enclosure. I have mine in a 75 gal tank with just some guppies for him to eat and I have to do water changes every 1-2 weeks.. It was recommended I get a filter for 2-3x the size of my tank and even then I'll have to do monthly water changes lol. They're kind of a pain in the a.. to keep as a pet tbh 😏

Sand is also bad. Just get rocks big enough that your turtle can’t swallow it. They also try to eat sand so that’s not a good choice
@LisaSpangenberg7 ай бұрын
Honestly that pond is too small for that size turtle and it is not predator proof. It would be good for a hatchling but not a juvenile. I hope he wasn’t snatched by a raccoon. Also sand is a better substrate as they can ingest those small stones.
@LeonardoStevenMe3 жыл бұрын
I do not recommend small pebbles. Turtles may eat that
@vincentsreptiles52703 жыл бұрын
Nice setup but probably already way too small for that turtle. It ain't no baby. looks to be juvenile to sub adult.
@themoodyturtle95694 жыл бұрын
This isn't a very good setup the turtle could choke on the gravel and the turtle could also escape by climbing on the walls this is not an appointment size setup for the turtle it can barely swim in that tub there's no cover or hides the turtle will be very stressed
