Haha! Yes I’m a bit of a tight a$$ 🤣 It comes from living in a small town where we didn’t have access to loads of the stuff we wanted to make our home nice. Always finding stuff at the dump to make into something beautiful.

Wow! You did an awesome job. It looks so comfortable and inviting. I love the shade screen you got. Our backyard gets so hot in the summer that it's uncomfortable to sit in. I've been thinking about getting one of these myself. Thanks for the ideas! I will definitely be looking into using some of them.

Love the lounge you recycled. It's giving me ideas, but they have to wait until my deck is finished being refinished. At least my roof has got colorbond now instead of plastic, and yes we did it ourselves, though I screwed in the 240 screws, my poor hand lol

@@NicoleHerrickDIY It was, it was cramping the first week during the night. It's been 2 weeks since we did it, so it's getting over it. We've done the deck prep to remove the most of the old stain, we need to sand it, them paint. that comign in the next week. nore hand cramping lol

Fab makeover. Did you consider painting the concrete or drawing a pattern on it. I think that would be just the ace of all makeovers. Love your vids Nicole they are so inspirational. I loved the one on using power tools and it gave me such confidence to drag mine out from under the workbench and start to have a go.

Thank so much Grace. Yes as soon as I looked at the video footage I realise I should have at least power washed the concrete, it looks terrible 😂. Great idea to stencil it! That would hide some of the crazy marks I have made over the years from various projects. So glad your getting on the power tools!
