I lived in an apartment with a balcony that had the same iron railing as the ones she has in her backyard. I came up with a pretty good idea for privacy for my railings. I bought landscape fabric that comes on a roll and wove the fabric in and out thru the railings. It took me just minutes to do. It not only worked but looked really nice and not cheap looking at all.
