Hi Akans, thanks you for your interested in my channel, really appreciate it. Do you mean the bed frame or the van? If you use aluminum for the bed frame, it should be much stronger but you won't have the feeling of wood, lol. For the van, yes, I am planning to use aluminum from 80/20 as the framing. I am planning to use 1" profile, the cost might be $2000-3000? Haven't estimated that.
