Hello I was wondering if I would get the same off shoulder if I wasn't using a stretchy fabric?

Hello Joycelyn! I would say, yes. I would just make sure that you don't make the fit really tight around the shoulder area. Since there's a drop in the front and back you shouldn't have to make it too loose, just not skin tight like you would with stretch fabric. Hope that helps. 😊

What if you dont have a bodycon dress to trace

Hello Kendra! If you don't have a bodycon you can always use a tight fitting shirt (preferably with stretch in it) and a skirt or leggings (with stretch) and line them together at the waist. Just make sure the waist and hip are evenly portioned to your body measurements if that makes sense. Hopefully this helps. 😊

Hello Ynouche'! I actually did not add any extra inches. The dress I used for the pattern was a perfect fit so I just traced around the dress as is to make the pattern (as instructed in the tutorial) and then of course added the 1/2in seam allowance. I hope this helps. 😊

@@lelajaglan3145 Hello Lela! You do not have to wait until your showing for sizing. I actually used a dress that I wore pre pregnancy to make the pattern. So you should be fine with the size you have available. If you want you could add a extra 1/2 - 1 inch around the seam to give yourself some room during the pregnancy and then take the dress in after the little one arrives if you want. Hope that helps. 🙂
