Without changing the oil filter its waste of changing engine oil, If the oil filter clogs up there is a chance of engine getting seized, sometimes if the engine detects filter is clogged up the oil will bypass the filter and the dirty oil will flow in the engine without any filtration. So get it changed asap. Have a safe ride brother ✌️.

I agree. I got the tool and will be replacing the filter this weekend. I will lose new oil during process, but it’s worth replacing the filter as you rightly said.

A lot of things are done wrong here 1. Change the air filter man it's cheap, if you don't want to don't clean it with water use a fuel which evaporates off faster, doing it with water and especially with soap is never recommended. 2. Change the oil filter with oil. 3. While using a coolant in your bike make sure the old one was the same, a flush isn't very hard to do if they are different. 4. If you don't have the oil filter removal tool you can remove it with your hands too if you try hard enough, an easy way to do it is fit a belt ( timing/serpentine is what mechanics use ) inside a wrench and then remove the filter with it, easy to get if you search a bit, everything else was done in a very well and clean manner.

Got it. This was my first time and I really appreciate your valuable inputs. Sadly the air filter wasn’t available in stock and I tried multiple ways to remove the oil filter but I wasn’t able to do so. I will be replacing the oil and oil filter after a couple of weeks (once back from the current 2500 kms ride).

Should have dipped the air filter in kerosene, it removes the dust faster.

Check with local bike parts and oil shops. They usually keep kerosene oil in bottles. I too will search.

Kerosene is not available now anywhere. The best alternative is to clean with diesel.

is your chain good..?...i assume u need to adjust your chain too... maybe...

Yeah the chain slack is fine. It would need adjust after another 1000kms or so.

Which engine oil is best castrol or motule or any other?

All the bikes that I’ve owned till date have been serviced with Motul. From last 2 services on my ninja I’ve been using Castrol and trust me it is equally as good as Motul or even Motorex for that matter. Motul has established a market dominance and monopoly which is why it is used more. Else Castrol is equally good. Even the Triumph Rocket 3 which has the largest capacity engine on any production motorcycle, is serviced with Castrol. I hope this helps. 🙏🏼

This is the worst and the most dangerous service I have ever seen. Useless changing the oil when you don’t replace the oil filter. Never lube or clean the chain with the motorcycle on. Never lube your chain without cleaning the chain, you are just going to add more gunk and spoil the chain and the sprocket.

Thank you for your inputs. In case you don’t know, oil and oil filter are alternatively changed even at the authorised service centres. Secondly, the chain was already cleaned when I got the bike washed prior to making the video. And I understand your concern regarding the safety aspects related to lubing the chain while the wheel is spinning with the bike turned on. I’ve been lubing the chains of my bikes for over 1.5 decade now and I know how much distance should I maintain from the rear wheel and the chain. Thanks a lot for watching the video though.

@@FTRClub No way you're doing it that way, different oils are made in a different way, don't mix them and change the oil filter every service, its cheap.
