I watch a lot of Sewing KZbin but THIS video was the first one that made me think, "Wait, I think I can do that!" I made my jacket out of an old floral patterned quilt that belonged to my mom and lined it with an old bedsheet. It's not perfect, but I'm so proud of it. And it gets a ton of compliments, and I get to say "Yeah I made it!!!" Thank you so much for this video; it inspired action for me 💖

Tip: if you make the pieces on paper first you can copy this jacket over and over again without having to draft a new one every time. This is very cute and your fabric is perfection !

I love when you said to keep the front side you like the most on top of the other, while the "standard rule" states front right (wearing the jacket) overlapping the left for women, and viceversa for men jacket. I definitely prefer your freestyle approach!!! 👍😎🤩 Ps: your tutorials are pure gold!!

I love what you’ve created from the blanket. Can I say that when your using your machine on thick fabric as I go. I use a walking foot. It’s much easier to over the thick areas. Love the colour .

So clearly explained some one said you mumbled I heard you very clearly and I was listening to music on KZbin on my TV and listening to and watching you on my tablet I would also add an inside pocket in contrasting fabric I've seen a throw in a shop I love the colour s off so I'm off to buy that on Friday and I have some spare fabric to do the lining which has pictures of London landmarks , soldier's red double decker bus es and red phone boxes which was greatly reduced a year ago so I brought eight yards of it as I knew I'd use it again
