Nicely done video. Your's are among the better woodworking videos & I do hope you keep putting them out. Thanks for posting.

Thanks so much Frank! That's a really nice thing to say! I'm enjoying making videos thus far, so I'll continue making them as long as it stays fun. Unfortunately I don't have the shop time to make them as frequently as other KZbinrs, but I do what I can.

Looking good. Where are the electric motors?
@mp1801703 жыл бұрын
Can’t wait to see what type of motors you used 👌🏼
@ScottWalshWoodworking3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Mark! I'm most likely going to be using high torque servo motors. Smaller servo motors may work as well, but I'd rather use something with more power so I don't run into any potential issues.

@@ScottWalshWoodworking Are you planning on a video showing the application of the servo motors?
@ScottWalshWoodworking3 жыл бұрын
@@befmx31 yep! I can't guarantee when it'll be out, perhaps sometime this year 🤷♂️? Thanks for watching!

I wouldn’t normally subscribe with so few videos out, but I can see you’re gonna grow this fast. Great video. Keep up the good work. And thanks for inspiration for my own blast gate dilemma I was having. Won’t be the same design but the concept inspired the solution.

Thanks so much Rhett! That means a lot. I've had a busy January, but I should have some new content coming soon!

I can't believe that you were cutting and routing mdf AND NOT WEARING A MASK! Other than that it was a very good video.

Great design, and you're so comfortable on camera that it's easy to focus on the project. Subscribed and looking forward to exploring your channel.

Great idea for simple automated blast gate design. Rotating instead of sliding gates makes a lot of sense.

Do you have actuators on the blast gates yet?? Curious how that went.
@ScottWalshWoodworking3 жыл бұрын
Not yet, the video is in the pipeline, but I have a few more things to get done first. I don't think it'll be too much longer... I hope not. I'm inherently lazy and I sometimes don't take the time to switch on the DC. I really need this lol

Are you standing on a stepstool at @10:50 or did you just make yourself a head-banging hazard? But then seeing you work at @4:34 maybe you're just used to that? Hmmm
@ScottWalshWoodworking3 жыл бұрын
I'm a little tall, and my basement shop has generally low ceilings and bulkheads. I think I'm also sitting on my bench @10:50, but I don't think it'll be a problem. I could use a good hit in the head every once in a while.

YOU KNOW AT FIRST I LIKED THE DUST SHOOT SYSTEM.BUT THEN I GOT TO BUILDING IT.NOTHING WORKS OUT CORRECT,EVEN AFTER A FEW SDJUSTMENTS,NOTHING WENT AS THIS PERSON SAYS.TOTALY ABANDED THIS FOOLS SYSTEM, FOR SOMETHING THAT I KNOW THAT WORKS. BUT I CAN ONLY SAY I HOPE THAT HIS CHANNEL DOESN’T MAKE THE CUT.
