Thank you! I really like to use the Vallejo washes when painting more realistic, they are so easy to use and wipe of if you make any mistakes :D
@nicksmith4372 жыл бұрын
@@lureblanks as I don't have washes do you think I could use a much reduced opaque or detail paint. Your thoughts much appreciated. Regards.
@lureblanks2 жыл бұрын
@@nicksmith437 You can definitely try it with a detail paint or the opaque thinned with 70% reducer or something. The detail paints are going to be transparent just like the vallejo washes and will be great for detailing and subtle colors. Opaque ones are great for layering that base and making details in lure stand out a lot ;)

DUDE! I've been waiting for you to do a blue gill for while now. You NAILED it! I've been wanting to try masking fluid and you just gave me the perfect excuse to purchase some. The masking fluid technique and your scaling technique are impressive! Let me place my standing request for a snake......copperhead or python.
@lureblanks2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Mark! Really appreciate your comment! Haha time to buy some masking fluid then! :D great stuff and you can achieve nice and easy effects with it. Definitely going to experiment some more with that :D Still working on the copperhead or python, or lets say thinking about and deciding which blank and techniques to use. It might take a while :D I sometimes wait for that Eureka moment haha :D

@@lureblanks Quick question on the ‘wash,’ is it possible to simply thin down my createx paints for the same applicational effect? Thanks for all of your responses!
