You are a pro at your craft! I did these braids on myself following your tutorial last weekend and they came out ✨perfect ✨. Took forever though lol but I love them. To prevent tangling I mostly wear it in French braids + bun. Then take down for special occasions.

6 weeks in and the braids are still holding up okay! I realized putting them in French braids was causing too much friction at the nape area causing them to tangle. So I since resorted to a top knot/high bun to sleep and that seems to do the trick. Just wanted to drop this here in case anyone scrolling is wondering how to best take care of them so they last a while (given how long they take to do) ✨😊 PS: I did spray with water at some point plus a *lightweight* hair oil when they got quite tangled/dry and that seemed to do the trick & helped with detangling. But no mousse or any other cream product that could leave residue and cause matting.

I have this weird habit of watching a KZbin tutorial once, then proceeding to do it, because “I got it the first time around”😂😂😂😂. I’m literally sitting on my couch, calling it a night. It’s been 12 hours and I’ve only done about 1/3rd of my head. Oh! And I just realized you said you got 30inches of the curly hair. I picked the first pack I saw at the beauty supply store, which happened to be be 18 inches. So far, my hair looks amazing!!!! You gave me the motivation I needed but giiiirl!!!!! Tbh if they don’t take care of it won’t last, wouldn’t recommend putting in hot water either lol. Mine last me a month and I ran my fingers through them daily, I didn’t but this particular style in hot water but I did with another! I would offer it to them as an option but let them know to how to care and also let them know if it’s not human so the chances of mattes and tangles are way higher!!

Thank you, it lasted me a whole month, didn’t experience and tangles. For maintenance I ran my finger through at least every other day, but tangles were minimal. When you do the style do not dip in how water it’ll ruin the curls and cause it to matte faster, as far as beach yes but getting in the water I can’t help with that since I didn’t do that with mine!!
