So easy for my daughter to make her own one in her choice of colour/colours and me to make my own. If it was younger kids I would use bigger beads to make sure they don’t swallow them. These would be gorgeous stacked as well, Christmas time I see red, green and gold beads strung on white waxed cotton. I’m off to check my stash, thanks for sharing 🏴💕

When I make the buttonhole I twist each set of three strands a couple of times before knotting, otherwise I would be ten minutes putting the bracelet on every time.

I braid the two sets of 3 strands before the second overhand knot
@debeadgirl4 жыл бұрын
When I made this bracelet, to finish, after separating the strands into two sets of 3, I took one of each of the 3 strands and tied half hitches around the rest to create a buttonhole long enough to accommodate the button before tying the last overhand knot. Thanks so much for the tutorial. I love it and have made two bracelets already and plan to make more.

Hi Kellie . I just found you when I was looking for a completely different cherry blossom bracelet that I had seen on the online flyer for the Pasadena Bead and Design show this weekend. It was made as an intricate braiding on top of a bead. Very pretty but oh my I love yours!! Easy and really pretty! What more could anyone want?!~ I then noticed that you live in BC. I ( I just turned 70! and live in Los Angeles, but born and raised in Montreal) immediately called my son who says that that he doesn't live that near your store but he drives down your street almost daily. Can you believe it? it's amazing how somehow we are all connected. And now I feel strangely connected to you.

Wow that bracelet truly is beautiful, you are so talented! I'm going to make this as a present for a friend. How would I make this into a matching necklace and earrings? Tutorials on those would be great! If not a tutorial could you give me any tips on how to do those? Thank you
@KelliesBeadBoutique5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Crysti! You would do the same principle for the necklace. You would just have to multiply the materials by the length you need. Simple math. As for earrings you could just take a few strands and fold them over. Tie them in a knot in the middle. Add seed beads to the dangles and you are done!

@@updownstate Are you just talking about Indian corn that we grow? Or is there a color mix of beads called Indian Corn? If there isn't, there should be! Wouldn't that be gorgeous?
@updownstate5 жыл бұрын
@@golfgranny58 I'm talking about the stalks of multicolored corn ppl dry and hang up for decoration. Who knows if Indians have anything to do with it. I have some so those are basic colors I use but yes, a color mix would be wonderful. It can be impossible [for me at least] to get what I want in the same colors, finishes, etc. Any bead companies out there listening?
