The room turned out great. I have to say I had my doubts with the paneling. But it adds a nice bit of texture behind the headboard. Love the floor. A very relaxing vibe in there now. Great job!

Thanks so much! The paneling was actually kind of a last minute idea. We were originally just going to cover up that creepy window with a curtain but decided the room needed some texture!

Nice job guys! I'm partial to green, probably because of all the years in the army, LOL. Lighter color on the ceiling was a good call, seemed to reflect the light good. I'm not on the instagrams, sorry.

I am not well balanced in my aesthetic opinions, as my late wife used to say, but I would have left at least one wall finished natural wood, preferably two walls. I love natural wood grains, but it would have been too much if all four walls had been varnished wood grain. Get the opinion of an interior decorator before listening to my advice, but most importantly, it is your house!! Do what you like!! Guests come and go. It is yours that you share with guests, especially as they stay over night!! How about a water front picture, or a deep forest picture hanging on one wall?

We love natural wood but for some reason it just didn’t feel right in this space. But I see where you’re coming from!
