You dog makes me chuckle he’s got that look on his face when your explaining stuff like he’s thinking yes yes that’s right 😂 Nice work dude very skilled work I’d love to be able to do this , I’ve actually started to gather a few tools together now got myself a hammer and Dolly set yesterday and I’m hoping I can stretch to a welder next month 👍 one step at time I’ll get there !

Amazing skill that not many shops across the world know how to do and do it well. I’ve been on the collision side of autobody repair and I’m learning a ton.

I really enjoy watching this video especially how well the fender turned out! However, I was very disappointed that you did not use the Flexile Shape Pattern rather than the Wire Buck! Keep up the GREAT Videos because you are quite the Craftsman!

I did not have a fender prior to this build in order to make a flexible shape pattern. BUT! If you check out my latest video I make a flexible shape pattern using this fender so I can build the passenger side fender! Check it out. Thanks for watching

Sweet as these will look a treat and show off those wheels nicely. Why didn't you like the other guards, they to were very cool. Did you do a video on the building of them by some chance?
@BeAMetalFabricator

Actually I really liked the other fenders! But when talking to the customer we decided we were hiding to much of the rear wheels, so we decided to make new fenders that look a little more like the front and show off the chrome. Also I did take some pictures and videos of the old fender build but I do not know what happened to them! I have searched and searched all I have left of those pictures is an Instagram short🫤. But that's for watching man I appreciate it!

@@BeAMetalFabricator rat rods for Africa is building a rat 39 hudson ute. I suggested he look at your guards. He had cut his up to suit his build, but a similarity in the arch. On the day I said to check you out you released your new rear guards. Ha ha that's how it goes. Hopefully he did look. Love your work it's very real thanks mate.

Is that a nibbler you used to cut the sheet metal?
@BeAMetalFabricator
@BeAMetalFabricator 10 ай бұрын
No I don't use nibblers. The shards get stuck in my Tanks paws. Tank is my dog. Those are Makita throat less electric shears

I am not a metal fabricator by any means and I am not questioning your method(s). Just out of curiosity, wouldn't it be easier to heat that metal up a little bit?
@BeAMetalFabricator
@BeAMetalFabricator Жыл бұрын
Haha well I'm some cases heating it up could work but heating will warp the panel in areas you don't want warped... In Sheet metal shaping you only heat the panel when your doing some really extreme stuff. Everything is basically done cold most of the time.
