I was born in NJ. I lived there in my teenage years and late 20s. Never really liked it. As an adult I had fun parting there, and NYC. Camping wise I only went to Delaware gap in tents. Now with my trailer in my 40s I've seen lots of places, MTB and camp often. Heading to Louisiana next week. Yewwww!

Add a bat wing awning that you can elevate for standing height and a little curtain for a outdoor bathroom to that and you are all set. He is so organized. I need to do that for my vehicle emergency kit.

I feel like if the top part of the kitchen could be extended out too, the camper will be much more spacious and comfortable to use.

I built a Teardrop on a Northern Tool Aluminum Trailer rated for 55 mph. I have driven it 93 mph for 10 to 20 minutes at times and nothing has happened. As long you have 10% to 15% tongue weight and keep the hubs greased, you are good to go. My average MPH with it is 72 mph.
@JayWye529 күн бұрын
the wheel bearings are what craps out. they're not made for any long life. also,i know HF used to ship their trailers with low speed-rated tires,but I believe they've changed that to highway-rated tires. maybe not on the budget trailer.
@Surfmus9 күн бұрын
@JayWye52 I changed the hubs and bearings. I keep them greased. every 1,800 miles I serve them. One time it broke after putting 5k. I learned the hard way.

Did the budget include the cost of repurposed materials or was something like the door figured at zero cost since he already had it. Interesting building.
