Building something like this requires months of planning, money, and skills in different areas. If you don't have the skills, you can learn them. You ask the experts. Usually, money is not the main problem. You can save up for a van like this and if you do most of the work yourself then it won't cost you much in the end. The problem is time. It takes a lot of time to build. If you have a full-time job then you can only spend maybe 10 - 15 hours a week on building this thing, and it would take you around 12- 18 months to finish the build.

ok the part that you need to make longer is the "after everything is done" part so we can see it all in its glory, with lots of pan shots, long shots, closeups, etc. Truly amazing production. You are a TRUE engineer, who can visualize it, design it, AND create it. The sliding bench-storage-cum-bed is a mindblower--it's like a Murphy bed and a trundle bed had a baby! Truly amazing. @@Gamer2k4 Nobody is disputing that there are lazy people who make excuses, thats life. But there is a difference between skill and talent (this is a result of both). For example if two people are given the same number of hours to upskill in a particular field, are they always going to end up with the same level of ability? No, because there are differences in the way we interpret and apply those skills. How would you explain instances of a child genius who can have so much ability with little time or experience? If you were given singing lessons would you be able to eventually sing like Adele or Ed Shearan over time? Sometimes natural ability is a defining factor too.

Always a chance and time to learn, and ways to source things as cheap as poss. Old palates and off cuts from timber yards and hardware stores go cheap, the main expense is the electrical components

cabinet maker as first trade?? god damn. the strength threw me off if you pocket screwed that roll out bed frame together. had to reewatch a couple times on how you did that given the amount of space and sized screws used. Awesome job. Lot of heart and dedication(not to mention funds and sweat) top put into your own project. Thats Satisfaction that you can proudly take around with you anywhere now.
