Out of the hundreds of videos I've watched of van builds this is the only one that is literal perfection. I'll be watching this video at least a thousand times while working on my own lol.

There is no way you could buy a conversion built by ANY manufacturer to compare with this. I am picking up my new Sprinter 4x4 tomorrow, and am going go do a conversion. Your video has convinced me NOT to do it, but rather to just keep mine simple. I could never imagine producing something as awesome as yours. And then to have your family together doing it...insanely admirable to say the least. It is not the quality of the van built, it is the quality of the family you are building.

We had a Ford Transit camper -UK version- many years ago(about 1975) with a dining set/convertible to double bed, over-the-cab-bed for our boys & a cupboard with toilet, and of course a kitchen - about 5ft of cupboards with sink. It had none of the special built in electrics & plumbing of your beautiful version, but to be honest we seemed to have all we needed for our generally 3 or 4 day stays in the mountains/empty beach spot in North Wales. We parked the camper right above the long empty beach ! A wonderful way to go on vacation IMO ! Enjoy your gorgeous creation, it is one of a kind. I particularly loved your shower/toilet arrangement - there is nothing quite so wonderful as enjoying the countryside or seaside with your own home & conveniences right there as you travel !

Guys amazing skills and dedication. Props to Katie by all means for supporting the project while taking care of a newborn. Finished my own project like 2 years ago and been digital nomading across Europe. Don't know your location and regulations but I'm 40kg under 3.5T on our best days with a way lighter build. Wish you all the best and hope you chose a powerful engine , a cold climate or flat terrain. Brake and suspension upgrade is a good idea on what to me appears to be a rather heavy build. I just want to help from my own experience.

Of all the video's I have seen, this is by far the one that is closest to what I would want. There is one big thing for me, personally, that doesn't make sense for you, and 2 opinion things that I could be swayed that yours is better. I would want a permanent desk instead of a dining nook. The optional is a easy raise / lower bed. But with how you made it, I am uncertain if that is better or worse compared to your fixed position. The other opinion is leaving the rear windows open, vs closing them off and insulating them. On the one hand privacy and better climate control. On the other more natural light. Regardless, this was effing phenomenal. You didn't do that stupid thing people do and call it ultimate...cuz lets be honest, literally none of them are ultimate. Every build is a compromise for space, functionality, weight, and often cost. And...and this is my favorite, you didn't talk. You let the work speak for itself. I wish I could subscribe twice.
