Shawna Gregory any gel food coloring is best to use when making candy apples if you're starting off you can choose from Wilton's coloring Chef Masters coloring or americolor I recommend Chef Masters gel food coloring but the other gel food colorings are good as well

Sing4Ni you can you just have to apply chocolate to the back of your pieces will applying them to your Apple to make them stick and you have to do it before you apply the sanding sugar to your Apple once you have placed your pieces on your Apple then you can apply the sanding sugar

Actually I don't ship anymore I tried several ways to protect the product and every time I shipped the candy broke down and it wasn't good by the time you reach the client it's expensive to ship apples in my opinion because you want to get the product to them and enough Timely fashion so that the product don't break down so am I paying is really not worth shipping apples and I don't do it anymore

efrain gonzalez if you live in a hot climate area you have to keep your apples in a cool area so they won’t get sticky but as I stated if you live in a hot climate area your apples will get sticky or if it’s humid in your house they will get sticky so after you have done your apples make Sure once they cool down for about five or 10 minutes bag them or box them and you can place them in the refrigerator

MZ DESSA hargrave I always tell the customer that I need a week in advance when ordering candy apples because there is a two-day process with the cleaning of the apples okay if you just have apple sitting around in their cleaning they can go bad if it's longer then they should be out so there is a two-day process for my cleaning that I prepare and say for instance if the customer comes to me and they want to place the order on the 7th of December so on the 1st of December I will be cleaning my apples so letting them sit for 48 hours I'll be ready to dip them on the 3rd of December now the time that I'm finished depending on the order side I leave my candy apples out until it's time for them to pick him up the day before they pick up or two days prior before they pick up I'm done put the bowls or whatever embellishments on the packaging before they order is picked up or delivered last minute candy orders I really don't like doing because I want to make sure I get that 48-hour process that's just a requirement with me now I have done some at the last minute and normally I just make sure I clean them very well let them sit within 24 hours and then I will dip the next day
