You should have coated the wood in fibreglass resin first to seal it.

Yes, that’s exactly what i thought. Gives you 20 years more use!

Guys you should have sealed the ply before hand. Moisture will rise an rot the ply. But outside of that great job.

Will you (or did you if the project is completed) add some additional foam under the decks for flotation?

Thanks for watching buddy! I dive into this in the next few episodes of the build :)

Question because i really dont know. Is there no reason to seal the ply because its marine grade? I assume its already well treated or something?
@AngryMackAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Hey mate yea you can treat marine ply with an epoxy or resin to seal, no marine ply bought is 100% water tight.With this application I chose to leave as is as the ply does have water resistant characteristics

Should have waterproof the ply before carpet
@AngryMackAdventures3 жыл бұрын
yes that's a huge help. Soon as its drilled down into the dinghy, the ply is exposed, but should last years as is! Thanks for watching :)

GoPros have always been shit with cutting out. I've had several throughout the years of different generations and they all seem to do it... Missed so many good shots I just stopped bothering trying to record anything... Lol even the best SD cards didn't help, I think they're just a bit shit 🤣
