No, Jeremy is the guy who shows up every day but is counterproductive. When I was in graduate school, it would often be the case that a "core" productive group would conceal meeting times from people IN THE GROUP who we knew would not be helpful. During one case in particular, we just told a guy that, "We met unexpectedly one afternoon and it was easier than we thought... so we got it done". We put his name on the project and turned it in. Just easier.

Fun fact: the original plan for this film was going to Jeremy, Richard and James against Jeremy's wife, Richards wife and James' girlfriend.
