Use bolinhas de isopor e cimento que fica forte e leve. Para fazer as bolinhas de isopor basta pegar isopor e triturar com água no liquidificador e depois passar em uma peneira. Fica lindo e ajuda o meio ambiente a reciclar isopor usado
@ritabergamino57405 ай бұрын
No caso de usar isopor o molde deve ser todo fechado ou utilize um vaso de plástico

Nice. i watch a lot of videos of people making flower pots. Most of the pots are beautiful, then the creators ruin them with gaudy colors that complete with the colors of the plants or flowers they put into them. I prefer either the natural color of the cement or subtle colors like your brown and tan. I refurbished all of our old faded and sometimes cracked plastic pots 2 years ago for about 10% of what it would have cost to buy new ones. I repaired the broken ones and painted them all in shades of brown &/or tan or one or two shades of green. Many admirers ask me where I bought them. Now I am contemplating making some cement pots and I am certainly not going to paint them bright orange and purple.

Do you use Quick Crete or Porters Cement? What ratio Cement to water do you use? Thanks 😊. I am fixing to try for the first time.
@danielgomes475410 ай бұрын
Very nice and easy method. One suggestion is to put an 16 or 18 inch tile on top to level the to rim, keep the edge smooth. and keep it there for the drying process to keep the planter in shape.

How did they turn out?
@marcietee3841 Жыл бұрын
I did mine with Petemoss in place of the paper pulp. It keeps the planter from being heavy and I used a cardboard box and packing peanuts and a trash bag to make the planter look like a huge boulder, it is a much better look, and more realistic. I look like a superwoman when I move it around lol. Just be sure you do not make the cement mixture too runny. I did the first try with another box inside to make the chamber for the potting soil. it seems to work better than the hand-packing of the cement mixture. Poring is easier than placing the cement in by hand. Oh, and the center box was covered by another trash bag to avoid a soggy box. or just fill the bag with something to make a place for the soil. it was a lot of fun and my failures made great fake rocks and gravel so no waisted cement and Pete moss. I just put them around my trees to reduce evaporation to save water. good luck

this ended better than i thought it would have. WELL DONE! my two cents : after finishing paint, id add to the vertical and horizonal grooves left by the "mold" Vertical groove: fit wooden dowels from top to bottom (one dowel per groove) Horizontal groves: fit twisted twine or soft metal wire aound the pot (one per grove) this would give it a nice aesthetic and if done with strong materials, would reinforce the pot itself. keep up the good work!!!

Paper pulp- 3 parts per Portland Cement- 2 parts per Sand (l use all purpose type)- 1 part per Mix together well (can add more water if needed maybe?) Add to a saranwrapped/packing taped laundry basket, working it about an inch and a half thick+ Make hole for drainage Cover and let dry two days Remove tape all around but leave tape on underneath Smooth outer edges, where it caked onto basket weaves. Let dry completely- two more days? Peel tape off bottom Pour water (nit sure temperature, I'd say warm?) over bottom until pot is completely wet Carefully remove basket from cement Smooth top edges if desired Done! (Did my vbest considering the lack of directions)

@charsnest1472 жыл бұрын
As long as you let them dry out slowly, they are very durable. If you take them out of the mold too soon, they can crumble because they haven't cured yet. Also, if you make them too thin, they can be fragile. I try to make mine at least 1 inch thick.
