Happy December!! I got a few questions😁 First of all, you bless my heart so much. Just your amazing personality! Beautiful talented anointed gifting and tenacity that I’ve only seen in few people that are pressing thru to their dream of being a crafter for a living. I do a little of everything, craft wise And I do festivals, my main thing is face painting and henna tattoos But I like to make kids crafty gift bags while I’m at my festivals doing face painting. But during the holidays I would like to do the street vending. How do you go about setting up on the street? Do you just go in a store and ask them can you set up in their parking lot? Do you have to have a permit to set up on the street? My other question is other than of course, building your business overtime, how do you market yourself to the point where you don’t have to take your things to sell at a festival? I love doing festivals but I can’t always get into festivals if they are full of my category. So I want to be able to try to do street vending and I just don’t know where to start. I’ve tried to go to flea markets, but them folks, just want to try to bargain with your prices. So I don’t like going to those and being offended because people say they’ll go to the dollar tree and get the same thing. I have been crafting and doing festivals for 30 years. Everything ranging from painting and selling ceramics making and selling quilts at festivals, canvas, painting, wood paintings, etc., but I would like to build a business in my area To get orders instead of having to go to festivals every weekend to make a living. My poor body is broke down after 50 years old lol😂 And I am 90% sure that the majority of this comes overtime word-of-mouth recommendations, etc. however you have the gift of gab and a magnetic personality so if you could just talk about some of the ways that you built yourself over the years or tips or tricks like do you give out free gift baskets with your business card and introduce yourself, etc. Anyway, tips and tricks that you have on the building your business without having to break your back loading and unloading your car every weekend at festivals Sorry for the long comment. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and you have motivated me to go after the Valentines holiday Easter Mother’s Day, etc. thank you for all your time and effort that you give us on KZbin with your videos be blessed and highly favored.❤ P. S. A resonate with you because you said at one point, your husband was not supportive in your dreams. I am in similar situation where I have no support except for a couple people, mostly they just roll their eyes and shake their head.

@@TheresaHanson-p3c yes ask if you can set up. Check with your local county to see if you need a permit or anything to set up outside. Also as far as marketing, I started with social media and have been using it for years! Now I get more and more clientele from word of mouth.
