Here's a quick DIY for my cla 250 service B maintenance.

Instead of purchasing ramps, I used a $100 pneumatic Oil pump tank I bought from amazon, to suck the oil out of the dipstick hole, it was a lot easier, cleaner, and safer than jacking the car, no need to replace the oil plug washer. I did confirm it got all oil by removing the oil drain plug (on level ground) after sucking all the oil out of the engine, there was about a small 5 inch puddle of oil in the pan. Next time I wont even pull the oil plug, just make sure I remove 5 +++ Liters of oil.

I have a BMW 3 series from the 1990s. One thing I do to make oil changes easy is drive the car up on four 2x4 blocks of wood. I have four blocks that are each about 2 feet long. This will give you the clearance you will need to undo the oil drain bolt and will keep the car perfectly level. Huge time saver!

I got the check engine light on my 2014 cla the other day - the code says P24D8 - quick online search says fuel pressure sensor circuit high- any idea how to locate this fuel sensor - I'm assuming its near the fuel tank behind the rear driverside wheel - please help me if you know

I have had many Mercedes over the years. I know what I can do and what it can’t. My E350 (W212) needs new spark plugs (a real PITA on the GDI engine) and a brake fluid change. Those I’ll let the dealer do. The other stuff I can do. BTW have you ever thought about getting a topsider oil change pump? You don’t have to get underneath your car at all!

You forgot to take oil cap off too more air flow when oil drains trust me I know lol you did great right tool ez job

My do oil change on my wife 2015 CLA250. Used oil extractor and no need to go under the car to remove the drain oil. So easy and have no problem so for years.
