I was looking for holds online earlier today, then thought...I wonder if I can just use actual rocks...well thanks for showing me how to do it!

5 months (and a 2nd lockdown) later, I'm interested to know how it went for you?

@@martinjoiner1001 not too bad. I actually put up a set of 8 rocks, but then got sick of drilling haha, so I ended up buying some polymer holds as well. I have to say, I like the rock holds better, but I only have a weak drill, and it's not worth the 45 minutes to drill one hole haha. I used planks that I screwed into the beams of the wall, so if I ever take it all down, there will be minimal damage to the wall, itself. One or two of the rock holds that were smaller could only fit one screw in them, and they got loose, so I had to replace them with larger holds. My ceiling isn't very high, so I mostly just climb sideways, but it gets the job done.

I feel you. I spend more time manufacturing holds and fingerboard then working out on them. I like discipline but like the sense of actually doing something productive (or could be might be if I actually used it more often). I’m gonna break some rocks now. Thanks for the video.

Love the brick wall bouldering area. What's the grade?
