We decided to build our own composting toilet with the Johnny compost kit. The money we saved instead of buying the Nature’s head toilet will be invested in the rest of the bathroom later in the build. The vent will be routed out the side of the bus and a p-trap will be added to the line leading to gray water. We will be closing up this box, but haven’t decided how we will be decorating it. That looked easy I thought it was harder to build one of those. I always heard that you had to have that fan going 24/7 so it dries out the poop so no smell ?? Hope all is well stay safe stay strong stay healthy God bless and enjoy life, ✌✌💖💪🎅🚌🌻👍

Yes! It was easier than expected 👍🏼 most people do keep their fan running 24/7 we just wanted the option to be able to turn the fan off in case we have issues with power later. Thanks for watching!!

Can you even imagine paying a thousand bucks for a bucket to do your business in? They don't compost at all....

Literally can’t 😅 but we’ve got it easy, building in a bus. We had all the room in the world. I know van builds almost “require” it because it’s perfectly compact.
