I personally like the bubbly look, but if you don't, you can use the sanding machine you've got as a "vibration machine". It'll do the work and spare your muscles. Anyway, it turned out amazing

To fillIn unwanted bubbles on the surface, I think painting on a very thin slurry of Quick-Crete would do the trick.

Has the concrete held up? Any cracks? I'm considering puting a bit of wire mesh in the concrete to make it stronger.

Trick the eyes with paint I like the holes... paint it a way to hide the holes

That would be cool. You can even use like spackle to fill in the holes if you are going to be painting it. Good luck ☺️

I would say close to 50 pounds. It’s pretty heavy but that’s good because I don’t have to worry about wind knocking it over.
