I found the perfect blank canvas sideboard at my local habitat for humanity restore! I agree that the ones from the stores look cheap, others are too expensive, or they were not long enough for what I envisioned. This diy is exactly what I was looking for, thank you ♥️

One of the best woodworking hand tools to own are gimlets in all the sizes. Make gentle small holes then on to enlarging them.

This looks so good and I have been looking for a cheaper way to make a nice looking buffet for the dining room, so I think this is definitely a viable option! I just cannot believe how much more expensive these units are this year compared to when you made this :( The 30x30 ones are currently at $130 each!
