If you dont blow out your rocks, i do this once a week and remove a powerhead, blow all the stuff out of your rocks and stir up 1/4 of the sand, my tank loves the attention it wasnt getting before i started to do this. I also change out the filter sock the day after to completley remove it from the system, great video as always

Been dosing 3 times a week for a year and my vermatids are almost completely gone. Wvery rock was completely covered in them. I recommend dosing after feeding your fish as the feed gets the vermatid nets open and then does calcium to foul their nets!

Great simple solution to my vermetid snail problem. The bumblebee snails are just not able to keep up. Ordered the Calcium Carbonate so i will gice this a go

We did the mix of this and bubbles snails on a buddy’s tank and it did the trick. Starting it on of my office tank now

I use weekly and dose much more than this video shows. Doesn’t seem to make a difference to vermetid snails in my experience. Perhaps daily for a week or two?

Mesh filter socks (200micron) will not remove coral snow from your tank. Use felt or a much smaller micron size. I do believe this makes my water very clear, but has zero effect on my vermetid snails as far as I can tell. I use weekly when I clean my tank.

Ive made some tests, and is definitely increasing my kh, I bought CACO3. I don’t why this happened but I tested in a water change and it raised 😢

Would bubble scrubbing at the same time help get things out of the tank as well?

Both methods essentially help transport small particles to your mechanical filtration

For snails wouldn’t using ozone do the same thing for water clarity and starving out the vermetid snails?

For water clairity yes. But ozone has no affect on vermetied snails

As long as your have a sock or skimmer to filter out the particle later. Could always just do a water change as well

It's 1ml per 25 gallons. So about 9ml to your tank.

Yep it will act as a floculant to clarify. I would dose 1-3ml
