This video is my opinion on how to use Reef Roids in a reef tank to feed your coral. I feed Acan coral, Trachy coral, Duncan coral, Candy Cane coral, Zoanthids, Mushrooms, Fungia Plate coral, Favia coral, Leptastrea coral, and others. Including SPS, LPS, and Soft corals. The coral growth is amazing when used my way.

you can activate other corals feeding response by putting a tiny bit of reef roids in the tank while the flow is going. turn off pumps and feed acans and stuff first, by the time you finish, candy canes and chalices should have their feeders out.

Dude I had acans that come from a tank that had crashed these guys were still alive barely .. half bleached colonies, lots of bleached corals etc .. I dipped & added them to my tank started using reef roids like this .. now two weeks later they are really coming back strong with a vengeance I've got baby acans growing all over these colonies, subbed :)

OMG I make it thick as well! So many people use the long feeding syringes and you just see them let out what looks like smoke or something with no consistency! The only thing is some of the corals dont seem to have a mouth and thinking that maybe I should do it that way for those corals and maybe they can absorb it better through their flesh. Like sps and my lobos, symphyllia and chalice. I love the syringe tip you use, looks like you can get around to some difficult to reach polyps with that. I think I saw one on amazon but didint really think how well it would work. Did you get it off amazon? The syringe I use is unable to suck up the thicker food I make as well so I have to add water and then I add the reef roids powder directly in the syringe and shake it up or use a pipette to stir it. I cant say whether or not it has increased growth because I have always done it that way and still pretty much a newbie as well! Love your channel!

Billy Pipes Thank you. I have a tank full of aggressive pigs (Wrasses and a couple of Triggers) who let nothing go by - even if it looks like they’re about to explode 😳

I watched this video 2 years ago and have been feeding this way ever since. its a great way to make sure they all get some. Little time consuming, but worth it.

I agree, I stopped doing it for a little while because of it being time consuming. But I started doing it again with some new frags and it really helps them out👍👍
