Thank you. That is so cool. I Love to go out in my garage and get creative. Got to try that for my Kayak. Thanks again 🙏

Cutting metal without gloves? Awesome!!! You sir are a dare devil! Love the diy-ness of this project but a little more thought towards the design might yield a bit more efficiency. Still, given the amount of effort that you put into it... it is quite impressive. Great job!

Ok, yes, you totally have a point here! Safety first! When i did the video, i was really enthusiastic, so i did´nt think about this an just did it... Nevertheless - always wear gloves - than is totally right! Glad you enjoyed the video tho... Greetings from Germany, Johannes

I know this is an old comment. But I was always told not to wear gloves with rotary tools, in the case that the glove gets caught on the wheel and pulls your hand into it.

You should use something so the shaft won’t be rubbing up against the wood less friction faster the boat will go

Yes, good idea! To be honest, i tried this out as a quick idea - but this would certainly help! Thank You! Greetings, Johannes

No no, i have a boat, I built a motor just like this but using a 2 stroke motorized bike engine kit and we had to rig up a sketchy steering thing but we used the same grinder gear idea and they don’t hook anymore

Go Build Ideas. I mean. You need better !!! Better! Learn physics at school! And do not show nonsense! And not knowledge of hydrodynamics. Leonardo Davinchi in a coffin turned over after such screws
@Родион-у2щ6 жыл бұрын
The larger the area of the screw lobe. The more difficult it is to rotate the low-power motor.! Loss of speed and increased energy consumption. Load! You need a screw of a smaller area. And already. So as not to fall. Sent by the motor! Even a small screw from an airplane would give more results than your shovel
@GoBuildIdeas6 жыл бұрын
Родион Бокарев Hi, yes, I just wanted to try this our as a fun project. Surely, this can be made more effective, thats right! It is not that I use this every day -it was just to check out if the cordless screw driver and this simple propeller could actually move the raft :-)
