Very nice and accessible indeed! Perhaps a little tip for fellow bonsaï enthusiasts: if you want - for whatever reason - to avoid wiring as much as possible and want to try a deciduous tree which is very cheap for a small one to start with, perhaps think of hornbeam. This tree has the habit to grow a lot of its branches more or less horizontally. Especially when given a bit of space. Also very tolerant for pruning and freezing temperatures... Have a nice and healthy sunday!

Can you use arborvitae round because I have got a tree from a local garden centre in jan cheap as it was dyeing and I have brought it back to life and i think it would look amazing as a bonsai but because of its relatively ugly trunk (being a tri-fork) i dont know if its even possible?

Hello.. please help, I bought a bonsai carmona one month ago and since then every day the leafs are turning yellow with brown spots and they fall, after one month of having this bonsai, its looking almost dead, i dont know if i can attach photos here but every advice will help a lot

Cryptomeria is my nigthmare! Loses too many branches... if I cut 1 branch, 2 dies back! Never lucky
