Honey I ve been sewing 50 years and there is allways some other thing you can learn from someone else .. The wah you put the brim back on was a great Idea.. Thanks .. I made a hat todsy and put the brim on frist before the sweatband on after. Now I know better you put the sweatband on First and you leave the area open for the rim that way is easier to work with and much more clean. I wish I could show you that stuff that I make. I've been working in the fashion industry for 40-something years period for all over 7th Avenue 8th Avenue Broadway couturier's so and everything but I make some cute stuff after I stopped I was able to see myself again. So I make a lot of crazy stuff now

Do you think you can sew rubber or pvc on the bill?
@knathanknathan4 жыл бұрын
Flipping inside out while stitching it’s brilliant and common sense. Also stitching is a way to go. Some folks use glue gun but it’ll fall off at some point. They even glue down the part that they’re attaching to the hat for crying aloud 😂 Good job 👍

yea im never very comfortable with glue lol

I’m having trouble with the part @ 2:22. Idk if I need to stich right at the edge of the brim or in my pressure foot needs to be at the edge. I keep getting a gap between the stich and the brim and it doesn’t seem right but idk how to get it to the edge
@increesemypiece7 жыл бұрын
your presser foot will be like halfway on the edge of the brim and halfway off. You're more so lining the NEEDLE up w the edge of the brim...
