Have you seen Mag Daddy wire retainers? They are awesome and I used them all of my builds. Don't have to drill any holes and are reusable. Pro tip on the exhaust; find some pipe that is the same as the ID of the collector on the header (which should be the same as the ID of the collector pipe). Cut a piece about 2", weld it into the collector pipe about 1" so that 1" sticks out and goes into the header collector. Your collector gasket will sit on the outside of this pipe but the pipe will protect the gasket and it will seal and stay sealed for as long as you keep the bolts tight.

That inner tube for the header collector is kinda brilliant, I’m gonna have to try that one! I like the idea of the magnet wire holders too, I haven’t used them but I’ll have to grab some.

@@noboltsleftbehind I once bought a set of headers that had this arrangement wherein the pipe slips into the collector thereby protecting the gasket which gave me the idea. I agree that it is brilliant and now use it on all my cars and any that I do for someone else. I worked at an exhaust shop back in the late 70's and we replaced a lot of collector gaskets, I wish I had thought of this trick then. The magnets are AWESOME, I keep a quality of them on hand at all times and have found a wide variety of uses for them. Amazon has both the actual Mag Daddy as well as some knock off versions which seem to work as well. Once you get some you will always want them, they work for all sorts of hoses and electrical lines and are very strong.

There's a mod to center the pumpkin down the middle of the tunnel. If you cut 7" off the longer end of the axle and 4" off the shorter side, you can then interchange the cut pieces and the axles from side to side.

Interesting, I've heard of shortening the driver's side so the tubes are equal length but I guess the pinion is still a bit offset. Switching them I guess is a good way to center without having to narrow it.

Man the sawsall.. for me, the ultimate "I will make you want to instantly give up" power tool. Nice job on the pie cuts!

Looks pretty good, hopefully it’s doesn’t drone too bad with the flow masters

I hope so too. I think I’ll probably install an H pipe, it helped out the Flowmasters on my Challenger.

Large c clamps would definitely help with the cutting. You blade length did not do your any favors either

I enjoy this film style. Any plans to get the 300zx back as a main stay on the channel?

Thanks! Yes, I’m researching swap options for the 300ZX right now. Trying to figure out the lightest setup I can get good power out of.

You messed up by not putting an H or X pipe in.
