Sam you Sir Rock, I struggle with Shhh and esss it was driving me crazy. The de/esser just seemed to make sound like s*^t. But this way is Wow! Thanks again.

My esses are naturally very harsh (almost a whistle). Regular de-essers just make it sound lispy. This is the first tip I've found that really helps contain it and make it sound more pleasing to the ear. Thanks Sam!

i noticed that the vol goes up considerably about 10 dbs when i put the Exciter and Compressor. compared to the before vol. Am i do it it correctly?

Sounds like you may have auto gain engaged on the compressor?
