LOL, I did notice you were climbing in your flip flops and I applauded when you changed them. I watered my garden in flip flops at the weekend, slipped and nearly did myself a mischief lol. Keep saying inside shoes but it was so hot (38C) . Nice to see your progress.

Ah, raking the grass. We spent years doing it. Then, my mom hired a guy to do it every two weeks, and he doesn't rake or collect. Turns out, the grass is every bit as healthy. I know you'll get to a point where you can clip and not worry about the heavy grass sitting on your lawn. I'm so glad those walls are getting a chance to dry out and breathe! Your house will be a good one. It will return to you in spades the care you give it now. Hope you enjoy your vacation! One more week here of work, then our Thanksgiving week which many of us take off begins! Christmas will come too soon after that, but I'm ready for both! Be safe always!

Thanks for the video. :) Have you been following Kinging-It's old stone cottage restoration in Scotland? They have a "shovel technique" for taking down drywall. They slide the blade of a shovel in behind the drywall; & then use the shovel handle as leverage to force the blade, & the drywall, out & away from the wall. No promises, but it might be worth a try. (I can dig up an episode # & timestamp if you'd like.) PS. Morrigan was extra-adorable this time.

I don't know if its the same in Ireland but the timber studs may be the same distance apart. The plaster board also a set thickness. Perhaps a purchase of a circular saw would be useful, the set the depth and run it up the wall and take plaster off in one sheet? A circular saw definitely a worthwhile investment for other things in future too.

Hi Aisling, another lovely video ..cutting your grass would be much easier for you if you had an attachment on the back of your lawn mower to collect the grass, most have them as standard on lawnmowers, it would save you having to rake it all up afterwards!😁 (anything to make life easier🤗) Hope you had a great holiday🌞..great job so far on your cottage🌸
