This is what I learned after years of sewing. Buy pre-made piping. I mean trim that has an edge that you can sew into the pillow. It has saved me a lot of time and money. Hobby Lobby and I am sure others have this on sale al, the time.

Great Tutorial! I love all the shortcuts and really dislike cutting bias pieces. I always try to avoid that. I am glad you showed how to do the piping. I have had issues with that. I see that in this older video your hair was parted on the opposite side. I knew you made a change. I really like the new look! All of your progects are so great and I love the variety. I did a complete makeover of an old vanity and a Very old rocking chair for my 8yr old daughter for Xmas 2020. First time I ever tackled this type of sewing project so I was pleased with the outcome but it would have turned out better if I'd seen this awesome video first;)

Perfect, I love it! I'm a bit obsessed with throw pillows. I've given some away and still have about 30 pillows left 😂. I purchased some of my fabric at Old Time Pottery, they sell some designer fabrics and have great sales. I'll have to give piping a try. Love your channel ☺️

I sew soft furnishings and enjoyed watching you break some rules! I usually cut the fabric on the bias and make the join less noticeable but you did a great job. And for the price! Gorgeous. I put in zippers because I like to change out my pillows regularly, seasonally, and storing a pillow cover takes up less space than storing a pillow. Regardless, I loved your video! Thanks.

Hello again, I have bought throw pillows from thrift stores and Goodwill and such and then I bring them home put them inside a bed pillow case throw them in the washer just a little bit of soap tiny bit and a little drop of bleach to sanitize them and yes it takes a little bit longer to dry in the dryer but they come out smelling fresh as a daisy . that way I feel safe to use them...

I agree down pillows look best, but I am super allergic to feathers. I've been using polyester fiber fill but they just don't look as good. Any suggestions?
